According to Wikipedia,

Feminism is a range of social movements and ideologies that aim to define and establish the political, economic, personal, and social equality of the sexes. Feminism incorporates the position that societies prioritize the male point of view, and that women are treated unjustly within those societies.

Personally I do agree coz I have seen it with my very own eyes, it has been happening for a very long time and its still happening. Many organisations have come up to fight for women’s rights, many talks have been held and some of them have even suggested things like paying women for the work they do at home. I have also realised tat many men are fighitng against it so much that they have become abusive, protectie, slefish and defensive. We see all thats happening and we now believe that these injustices or gender stereotypes still exist bigtime but its only some of us. Some women and men see no problem with such stereotypes because thats how we have been brought up each and every time telling us the man is the braedwinner, you are not supposed to be better than your man coz it will hurt his ego, telling us the girls we are not supposed to raise our voices, we are not supposed to sit on the table, we are supposed to kneel while serving our men as a sign of respect. I have always wondreed what shows that man respects his woman?

Even the bible itself has some quotes that praise the man more than the woman, the Quran visibly does it especially through prayers saying Man prays from the front and women oray from the back, A woman is not supposed to lead prayers. 

All these organisations have been figjting to bring about equality, showign us the variuos ways in which society has been unfair to the women, coming up with solutions and talks to empower women. But one thing they havent done yet is to show us where all this comes from!….Most of us have grown up thinking thats how shit is supposed to be, its how we have been taought, we think its how God created it to be since its inour religiou sbooks, we believe going aginst such stereotypes is a sin against God’s set values and righteouness. they are deeply rooted within us. 

I truly beleive that if we do not show people how this all came about, how it started, show them that its not something that comes from God, He craeted us as eqhaul human beings, each with its strengths and weaknesses…he created us to synergise our given strengths and create something beautiful. He didnot create one better than the other…he just gave us differences some more evident than the others for examples our physical differences….but how about the social, emotional, mental differences?…these are all personality differences that all human beings have but mnaybe they are stronger or weaker in a certain gender but thats is not reason enough to say that one is weaker than the other. Something a man can easily do may seem harder for a woman and vice versa. we are suppose to compliment each other the sam eway a aman and awoman bring a child to the world.

Let me tell you why up to now Men are still considered as the stronger gender. Its true they are stronger but not in everything. You need to understand that times are changing. those days all the jobs available were mostly for strong people ans yes Men were the strongest…requered alot of energy lifting and breaking, building, fetching think of all jobs of that time, so yes, thats how it come sabout to say Men are stronger. so in that time women were meant to contribute by taking care of everything at home. with the emergence of technology it shows that many jobs have emerged that dont need alot of muscle energy and instaed mental energy and women have much of that. But Men are not as open minded yet to share the light. They have been brought up thinking they are superior so who are we to think that we can also be as superior as they are! This has caused alot of protectiveness, adversary, selfishness, defensiveness. Plus even women are not yet ready to let go of some of the priviledges they have been enjoying like gettting money from a Man, being taken care of without much working, the saying of ladies first. We are living lives from social mirrors so if we donot know that yet then how do we even strat to change that. Also most feminists have not understood the assignment well, they are instead preaching hatred towards Men….Even Men themselve sdo not know what is true and what is wrong we need to educate thema nd understand them but not hate them. It has also been imprinted into their lives for generations so It will take sometime to change but we need all people to first understand what is and how did it come about.  

We need to even realise that having man and woman work together produces that best gifts, look at familes that have latsted, there progress has been tremendous, the ones that have been in chaotic marriages stay the same way and unfortunately we end up rubbing the same energy and habits to our children. As we preach the gospel of feminism let us understand where these gender steroetypes come from so that we can create a new script geared towards service and contribution, interdependence, loving, caring, and less possessive and judgemental!
